Fundamental Principle
Tokyo Tatemono —

with its corporate principle
of “maintaining
trust into the future,”
as a modern company aspiring
toward sustainable development
with a low environmental
burden, and to respond
to the trust in its building
management capabilities
built up over a century
— will constantly
maintain and improve its

building management, and
contribute to the preservation
of the global environment.
Corporate Action Guidelines
- Properly assess the
environmental impact of
the building business,
and with the goal of reducing
the environmental burden
as one aspect of total
building management, pursue
a program of lowered resource
use, energy conservation,
waste separation, and
recycling.
- In recognition of
the significant environmental
impact of scrap-and-build
of buildings, consider
the lifecycle of a building,
and undertake appropriate
repair and remodeling
to extend building life.
Also, when a building
is repaired or facilities
are upgraded, proactively
adopt environmentally
friendly construction
methods and energy systems.
- Make the best effort
to gain understanding
and cooperation toward
reduction of the environmental
burden among tenant companies,
as well as those providing
building maintenance services,
and strive to achieve
environmental preservation
in the building overall.
- Comply with all environmental
laws and regulations,
and work to prevent pollution
of the environment.
- Improve environmental
training within the Company,
and foster and raise awareness
of environmental preservation
among all executives and
