*About Special Accounts
Since the digitization of stock certificates in January 2009, our Company stock certificates that were not under the custody of the brokerages were placed in special accounts at Mizuho Trust & Banking Co., Ltd. with its details registered and recorded.

Purchase/Sale of Fractional Shares

Fractional shares (1to 999 shares) may not be traded on the stock market whether they are placed in broker accounts or special accounts.
We do not charge transaction fee for purchasing/selling fractional shares, so if our shareholders own fractional shares, we strongly recommend that they consider purchasing up to 1,000 shares or selling them.

Purchasing Fractional Shares For example, a shareholder who owns 700 shares may make a request to buy 300 shares from our treasury stock, so that he/she owns a unit share of 1,000 shares.
Selling Fractional Shares For example, a shareholder who owns 300 shares may make a request to our Company to purchase them.

Direct Deposit of Dividends

In order to safely and accurately receive dividends on the first day of dividend payout, we strongly recommend to those shareholders, who have not assigned a direct deposit of dividends to do so as soon as possible.
There are following 3 methods of direct deposit of dividends.
For precautions of each method, please contact your broker.

Pro Rata Allocation of Shares
  • It is a method where the dividends are deposited in the broker account.
    You may manage your shares and dividends in the same broker account.
  • Even if you have several broker accounts, you can process at just one broker.
  • If you own our Company shares in several broker accounts, dividends will be deposited according to the outstanding balance of the number of shares at each broker account.
  • Since January 1, 2010, if you receive dividends of listed companies in the special account at the brokerages (with withholding tax account) it is possible for you to compile profit/loss within the special account.
Registered Dividend Receiving Account
  • It is a method where you may designate the savings account of a bank to receive all dividends of listed company shares you own.
  • Even if you have several broker accounts, you can process at just one broker.
Designation per Share
  • It is a method where you may designate the savings account of a bank to receive dividends for each share you own.
  • It requires you to submit the direct deposit of dividend form for each share you own.
